1. who knew makeup is sooo expensive!?! certainly not me. granted i'm not the type to buy tons of it. i'm hoping the stash i bought will last me a long time.

2. sprinkles cupcakes! i finally got a chance to try these goodies. a special thanks to dana and sandra for that great surprise! i especially loved their cinnamon, strawberry, and lemon coconut. yummmmm... which leads me to #3...

3. sibby cupcakery located in san mateo. i really want to try it out! it has GREAT reviews on yelp. the downfall is that they don't have a storefront. you have to order by the dozen and actually make an appointment to pick them up.

4. shoes. shoes. shoes. finding the right pair of shoes! it's hard when you are trying to look for a specific color and style. i thought i found the right ones... but after trying them on again (they are a bit tight)... they aren't the right ones. time to return and it's back to the drawing board.

5. i'm just browsing at laptops right now. i'm hoping to purchase one before moving up to seattle. i think i'm leaning on getting a dell. no specific reason why a dell. maybe because my parents have one and i love it (besides the fact that it now has a virus and needs to be cleaned out). anyone have other suggestions? (anything but macs. i've given up purchasing mac products. it might have something to do with me wanting to throw my mac out the window a few times. i'm not knocking macs. it's just that i'm not good with them.)

6. first Laguna Beach... then The Hills... then Newport Harbor... now The City?? oh dear. what next? i guess i'll give it a chance when it comes on. i bet i'll get hooked though. ahaha!

7. first the 90210 remake... and now the possibility of a Melrose Place remake? oh my... i'm thinking i MIGHT get hooked on it since i'm already hooked on the new 90210.

8. froyo is still one of my favorite snacks! yummmm.... i even have it planned as one of the stops on my wedding day. yay that Blush is only a 5 minute drive from the venue. score!

10. holiday season is right around the corner?! wow! 2008 is coming to a close. yay for 2009! i can't wait!

i'm not sure if ppl still read xangas... i'm all about facebook these days! in any case... here's an update!

1. ray and i got engaged last may. and now we are in the midst of planning and preparing for married life! lots of changes coming our way... and i'm excited to start the next chapter of my life with him. (yes, cue sappy music)

2. i got to do something i've always wanted to do... go on a hotair balloon ride! it was amazing! next on my list... skydiving! who's with me?

3. scrapbooking. still love it, although i'm not spending as much time as i used to doing it. i'm about a year behind. eeks! i'm telling myself... i'll have more time once i move to seattle.

4. yes, moving to seattle. that's a biggie! i've never lived away from home... EVER. a little less than a year, i'll be calling seattle home.

5. i'm all about froyo these days too! mmm... red mango and blush are my favorite! let's just say i would drive 40 minutes just to get my froyo fix. thank goodness blush has opened in dublin. mmm....

6. random question, but what happened to all my old dotphoto albums? it's been a year since i've logged on... but all my old albums are gone!?!?

i'm sure there are many more things to share, but i just can't think of them right now...

after trying cupcakes in seattle last weekend, i must say... cupcake royale BEATS trophy by a landslide (that's based on my tastebuds).
